Formula One driver Jochen Rindt in the #35 Repco-Brabham prepares to go out and qualify for the 1968 Indianapolis 500. Rindt would qualify 16th and finish 32nd.  Rindt was killed in 1970 in qualifying for the Italian Grand Prix at Monza. Despite his death, his competitors were unable to overcome his points lead in the remaining races and he was posthumously declared World Champion for Formula One.
